I am sure that there are more sophisticated bots out there, but are there bots that can actually complete a Bounty by themselves? If not, this may be a solution, or at least a solution for the less sophisticated bots. I have been on a few Bounty Runs where I have run into a character just running back-and-forth, back-and-forth between two points, doing nothing else. The only Legit players I can think of that might be hurt by this are ones that for some reason are unable to complete a Bounty by themselves, maybe because others are helping them level and they can’t complete a bounty by themselves? So then, maybe it could be set up to where a player only needs to be “very close” to another player when that player completes a bounty, then that could count as having completed a Bounty, and therefore, that player’s Chests would not be locked. The player DOES get the Chests, but they are LOCKED, if the player hasn’t personally completed a bounty during that bounty run, and they only become unlocked thereafter.
This may take weeks or months if it ever happens at all.įor more insiders information about the patch, see this video by Rhykker.In order to open Horadric Chests from a Bounty Run, a player must complete at least one of the Bounties during that Run (not a whole Act, just at least one Bounty from one of the Five Acts during the run), otherwise, that person will be unable to open any Chest received from that Run. An updated D3 bot will not be easy and it will not be a quick fix.
Blizzard did the same thing with World of Warcraft recently, and some bot developers figured out a way to work around it with WoW. The data does not stay in the same place, so it is very difficult to create a bot that will first discover the newest location of the data as it periodically changes, and then manipulate the data to run a bot. The new Diablo 3 patch randomly hides the data necessary for a bot. The devs at ROS BOT claim to have a working Beta, but they are not releasing it to the public, and it seems questionable. DemonBuddy over at Bossland has removed the DB forum and posted a banner page that states "Demonbuddy is GONE!". For example, there are reports that Turbo HUD won't be back. It seems that all of them are broken permanently.
